AYO
MAKAN!

Conceived, illustrated, and designed Ayo Makan! Offline, a bilingual cookzine developed as an extension of Ayo Makan!, a digital platform dedicated to sharing Indonesian culture through food. The project served as a means of connecting with the Indonesian community, particularly members of the diaspora, through interviews, research, and collaborations with Indonesian-focused individuals and organizations.

The publication features five Indonesian dessert and snack recipes presented in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, accompanied by original illustrations, editorial design, and educational content exploring traditional food practices and cultural history. Supported by a grant from the Critical Language Scholarship Program, Ayo Makan! Offline was distributed free of charge to public institutions, community organizations, and individuals, creating a lasting educational resource that celebrates Indonesian heritage.
